FFUI
A terminal cockpit and portable network toolkit.
WEB CONSOLE PREVIEWBrowser console preview. Native terminal and device readings require the corresponding app. The keyboard interface builds on GitSquared/eDEX-UI.
01 / OVERVIEW
FFUI combines a macOS terminal cockpit with a mobile Field Kit. The Mac app provides a real PTY terminal, system readings and network checks; the mobile toolkit includes DNS, HTTPS response headers, CIDR calculations and SHA-256. Native iOS Nearby Radar discovers Bonjour services on the local network. Its keyboard interface builds on the credited eDEX-UI design.

03 / BUILD NOTES
Why I started it
FFUI explores how a terminal cockpit can also be useful away from a desk. The Mac version combines a shell with system and network panels; the portable Field Kit brings focused network utilities to the web and mobile.
My contribution
Product direction and iterative development of the cockpit and Field Kit, including choosing useful network workflows, reviewing the native and browser experiences and shaping the interface across screen sizes.
A problem worth solving
A browser cannot offer every capability of a native terminal. The Mac build connects a real PTY through its native bridge, while the Field Kit exposes supported DNS, HTTPS, CIDR and hashing tools. Native iOS Bonjour discovery stays in the iOS experience. The interface identifies unavailable readings instead of inventing them.
Where it stands
A public web experience at ffui.love, alongside native Mac and iOS development work. The image above is the actual browser help screen. The credited eDEX-UI keyboard design remains part of the project's visual foundation.
